Lubbock, Texas

Lubbock is a city in and the county seat of Lubbock County, Texas, United States. The population was 229,573 at the 2010 census.

The city serves as the primary economic hub of the Texas South Plains and is the location of Texas Tech University. Birthplace of rock and roll legend Buddy Holly, and center of largest cotton growing region in the world.
